Prophecy = Planetary Movements
It is my understanding that the heavenly precedes the earthly and that prophecy takes as its template what happens in the heavens: the movements of planets. Prophecy is merely the description of these movements and the plasma interactions that result from them.
The 1st Key
All true prophecy follows the same pattern: every element is some celestial body or plasma display—a star, a planet, a comet, etc.–and the imagery in the prophetic story is imagery seen in the heavens. So, for example, if the prophecy mentions a sword, it doesn’t mean that there is a real sword in the heavens (the sky or outer space) but that there are planetary movements and plasma formations that, when seen from Earth, create the image of, or look like, a sword. Again, it is merely the image of a sword, not a real, earthly sword. This is a key to understanding prophecy.
So, any prophecy is merely the movements of the planets and the resulting plasma interactions, converted into a story. To understand the prophecy, one must convert the story back into the planetary movements and plasma interactions.
Prophets Prophesy of the Heavenly
In any true prophecy of the future, the prophet is explaining what is going to occur in the heavens: the movements and plasma interactions of the planets.
Prophets Prophesy of the Earthly
After the planets go through their motions, fulfilling the elements of the prophecy, the same story then plays out here on Earth.
The 2nd Key
A second key, then, to understanding prophecy is that first comes the heavenly fulfillment followed by an earthly fulfillment.
Elements and Their Order: The 3rd Key
For a prophecy to be fulfilled, every element of it must be present, in the correct sequential order. If any element is missing or if any two elements are out of order, the prophecy is not fulfilled. This is a third key to understanding prophecy.
Why D&C 101: 43-62 is still future
When applying these three keys to the parable of the redemption of Zion, it becomes clear that this parable, which is a prophetic story, has not been fulfilled in any way.
Most people who comment on the parable assign a strictly earth-based meaning to it. Not possessing the first two keys, they fail to examine the past and present astronomical history to see if the heavenly aspect of it has been fulfilled. Had they used these keys, they would have quickly noticed that nothing even remotely similar to the parable has occurred in the heavens. This would halt their search for any earthly fulfillment, because the earthly must follow the heavenly.
By forcing an earth-only fulfillment, commentators must use the third key alone, but even here they often don’t turn it. If a prophecy contains exactly 10 elements, they will often accept 9 as its “fulfillment.” If the order is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, they will often accept 1, 2, 4, 3, 5, 6 and call it “fulfilled.” Coming close is their standard, not exactness.
For example, many people still believe that the first part of this parable (D&C 101: 43-51) was fulfilled in Independence, Missouri or in Nauvoo, Illinois, because the parable speaks of a failed attempt to build a tower, which everyone interprets as a temple, and the Missouri saints failed to build a temple. In the case of Nauvoo, some people also believe that the Nauvoo temple was not completed (either entirely or in the time designated by the Lord to be completed).
A simple look at the parable will show that neither interpretation is correct. Notice the sequential order and the number of elements:
- 1st, the servants of the Nobleman plant 12 olive-trees, which Joseph Smith interpreted as being 12 stakes. (A tree is a stick of wood sticking straight out of the ground. A stake is a stick of wood sticking straight out of the ground. To the prophetic mind, they are the same.) This never occurred during Joseph’s lifetime. (A number of stakes were established, but not 12.)
- 2nd, the servants build a hedge around the 12 trees (stakes). This also never occurred.
- 3rd, the servants set watchmen upon the hedge. This also never occurred.
The first three elements are completely missing from the Missouri and Nauvoo histories. There is no way around this, so interpreters merely ignore these elements and start with the 4th.
- 4th, the servants begin to construct a tower but get no farther than laying its foundation. Joseph interpreted the tower as an observatory, distinct from a temple, but everyone else combines them together. His design for the Nauvoo temple called for a tower to be built on top of (in addition to) the temple. The parable only mentions a tower, not a temple. So, tower does not equate to temple, yet people routinely mix these elements up.
These first four elements of the parable are sufficient to show that neither Missouri nor Nauvoo fulfills the parable/prophecy. There are similarities to past and current events for some elements, but coming close is not the same as fulfillment. For example, some will see the City Creek Development as fulfillment of D&C 101: 49 (“Might not this money be given to the exchangers?”) Prophecy is based upon true patterns, so sure we’ll see aspects of prophecy repeated among men, but we shouldn’t be so quick to declare that “this is prophecy being fulfilled before our very eyes.” When we take one element of a 10-element prophecy out of context, it sets us up to miss the real event.

In my previous post, I attempted to interpret the parable of the redemption of Zion using key #3 alone, as an earth-only fulfillment. Halfway through my examination, I realized that the entire thing was evidently speaking of the planets and I thought to scratch out what I was writing and start all over again, this time applying the three keys, but I didn’t because I found the exercise fun and also because the information I had drawn out of the text interested me. Despite my attempt at using only the third key, I still couldn’t come up with a strictly earth-bound interpretation because my mind kept seeing the heavens move about and I ended up with a mixed bag: half earth-bound, half planetary. I found the post strange and wonderful at the same time, if not wholly accurate, and felt compelled to hit the publish button.
The very next day, I re-interpreted it according to the three prophetic keys and wrote out this post. Unfortunately, I had computer/Internet connection problems and I wasn’t able to publish this until today. What follows is what I believe to be the actual meaning of the parable, the real celestial events that the parable’s story was placed over. Unlike the previous post, these aren’t musings, but consist of my scriptural exposition of this parable.
Parable of the Redemption of Zion
And now, I will show unto you a parable, that you may know my will concerning the redemption of Zion.
The Planet EEAAOOAAEE
A certain nobleman
Nobleman is the massive Planet EEAAOOAAEE.
Planet EEAAOOAAEE owns Our Solar System
had a spot of land, very choice;
The very choice land is the empty space that makes up Our Solar System, such as the field that a man had, “and he sent forth his servants [planets] into the field [Our Solar System] to dig in the field [Our Solar System]” (D&C 88: 51.)
Planet EEAAOOAAEE speaks to Servant Planets; i.e., Planet EEAAOOAAEE discharges Interplanetary Thunderbolts to the Servant Planets
and he said unto his servants:
Servants are planets located in the empty spaces between the various Solar Systems.
Planet EEAAOOAAEE commands Servant Planets to go to a Solar System
Go ye unto my vineyard,
Vineyard is any of the Solar Systems, where the bulk of the fruit (planets) are located. Servant Planets are to travel to one of these Solar Systems.
Planet EEAAOOAAEE commands Servant Planets to go to Our Solar System
even upon this very choice piece of land,
Servant Planets are to travel to Our Solar System.
Planet EEAAOOAAEE commands Servant Planets to plant Twelve Planet/Plasma Trees
and plant twelve olive-trees;
Servant Planets are to discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of olive-trees in twelve locations around Our Solar System. To do this, the trees must be “planted” on the Planets of Our Solar System. When the Planets of Our Solar System are properly arranged, they discharge plasma, creating the visual image of a tree coming from their poles. This can be accomplished with a minimum of six planets (two trees per planet, one out of each pole.)
Planet EEAAOOAAEE commands Servant Planets to set Moons around Twelve Planet/Plasma Trees
and set watchmen round about them,
Servant Planets are to discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual images of watchmen around the olive-tree plasma formations. The visual images of watchmen are moons that circle a planet.
Planet EEAAOOAAEE commands Servant Planets to build an Interplanetary Plasma Tube
and build a tower,
Servant Planets are to discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of a tower (plasma tube). The visual image of a tower can be formed by a stack of planets with a plasma tube connecting them.
so that a Planet Sun, set upon the Interplanetary Plasma Tube, can illuminate the space surrounding Our Solar System
that one may overlook the land round about, to be a watchman upon the tower,
Servant Planets are to discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of a watchman upon the tower. The visual image of a watchman upon a tower can be formed by a planet sitting atop a plasma tube.
so that when the Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System come, they don’t destroy the plasma and planetary formations
that mine olive-trees may not be broken down when the enemy shall come to spoil
The enemy are Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System.
and capture the Planets of Our Solar System
and take upon themselves the fruit of my vineyard.
The fruit of the vineyard are the Planets of Our Solar System. If the Servant Planets have not accomplished their work by the time the Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System enter Our Solar System, these Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System will break up the plasma and planetary formations of the olive-trees, hedge, watchmen, tower, and watchman upon the tower and will capture the Planets of Our Solar System.
Servant Planets enter Our Solar System
Now, the servants of the nobleman went and did as their lord commanded them,
The Servant Planets enter Our Solar System.
Servant Planets form Twelve Planet/Plasma Trees
and planted the olive-trees,
The Servant Planets discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual images of twelve olive-trees around Our Solar System.
Servant Planets form Planetary Rings around Twelve Planet/Plasma Trees
and built a hedge round about,
The Servant Planets discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of a hedge around the twelve olive-tree plasma formations. The visual image of a hedge is a planetary ring, such as the rings of the planet Saturn. It could also be an asteroid belt.
Servant Planets set Moons upon the Planetary Rings
and set watchmen,
The Servant Planets discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of a hedge around the plasma formations of the twelve olive-trees and also creating the visual image of watchmen upon the hedge. The visual image of watchmen upon the hedge is of moons orbiting the planet, on the outskirts of the planetary rings, as if the moons were set upon the rings. It can also be of planets skirting the edge of the asteroid belt.
Servant Planets form a Partial Interplanetary Plasma Tube
and began to build a tower.
The Servant Planets discharge plasma and/or rearrange the objects of Our Solar System, creating the visual image of the foundation of a tower. The visual image of a tower is of a plasma tube connecting two (or more) planets. A plasma tube between two planets that only goes part of the way up from only one of the planets (it doesn’t actually connect the planets) will look like the foundation of a tower and not a completed tower.

Servant Planets stop forming the Interplanetary Plasma Tube
and they hearkened not unto the commandments of their lord.
The Servant Planets no longer go through the spatial movements necessary to finish the creation of the visual image of a tower (a plasma formation).
Servant Planets stop discharging; afterward Disruptive Planets enter Our Solar System
And the enemy came by night,
The Servant Planets stop discharging interplanetary thunderbolts between themselves, so that there is no more celestial sound/thunder. The watchmen (moons) upon the hedge move off and away. The only visual images that remain when one looks upon into the sky are the twelve olive-trees, the hedge and the foundation of a tower. But even these displays of plasma are reduced in power, so that everything seems like it is nighttime and the heavens are asleep. In this setting, the Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System enter Our Solar System.
Disruptive Planets break down Planetary Rings (that have no Moons skirting their edges)
and broke down the hedge;
The Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System break down the hedge (planetary rings/asteroid belt).
Servant Planets begin discharging and leave Our Solar System
and the servants of the nobleman arose and were affrighted, and fled;
The Servant Planets begin to discharge wildly and begin moving again, leaving Our Solar System.
Disruptive Planets destroy planetary/plasma formations of Servant Planets
and the enemy destroyed their works,
The Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System destroy all the plasma/planetary formations created by the Servant Planets.
Disruptive Planets break down formation of Twelve Planetary/Plasma Trees
and broke down the olive-trees.
The Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System remove the plasma formation of the olive-trees.

Now, behold, the nobleman, the lord of the vineyard, called upon his servants, and said unto them,

This could be synonymous with planetary rings and/or the asteroid belt, or it could be referring to strong plasma double layers (which are like cellular walls) that have been formed by the Disruptive Planets Not From Our Solar System. Whatever the planetary configuration or plasma formation they consist of, when viewed from Earth they will appear to man as walls in the heavens above.

and this shall be my seal and blessing upon you—a faithful and wise steward in the midst of mine house, a ruler in my kingdom.
Outside of Our Solar System, plasma discharges occur between Planet EEAAOOAAEE and Planet Joseph. Planet Joseph will be located in the center of the group of planets that will make up Our Solar System, and will become a ruling planet (a sun).
Planet Joseph captures the Servant Planets, enters Our Solar System and scatters the Disruptive Planets and their plasma/planetary configurations
And his servant went straightway, and did all things whatsoever his lord commanded him;
After many days all these planetary movements/plasma formations come to pass
and after many days all things were fulfilled.
What all this means
There are four groups of planets that are to enter our Solar System in the future.
Group One: The Servant Planets
These planets will cause great changes to our Solar System. After this group arrives we will see trees, a hedge and watchmen in the heavens, as well as the foundation of a tower, but no watchman upon the tower. In other words, they will not complete the Interplanetary Plasma Tube and ignite a Sun at the top of that tube.
Group Two: The Disruptive Planets
These planets will break up whatever has been formed by the first group and will cause the first group to leave our Solar System. This group will create an Interplanetary Plasma Tube but there will be no plasma trees and possibly no hedge, though there will be plasma walls erected. They will also cause watchmen to appear, though there will likely be no watchman upon the tower, as none is mentioned in the parable. So, like the first group, there will be no ignited Sun at the top of the tube.
Group Three: Planet Joseph and the Servant Planet Army
When this group enters, they will scatter the second group’s watchmen, break up the walls and throw down the Interplanetary Plasma Tube. They will cause the second group to leave our Solar System. The parable does not mention that this group builds anything, only that it will sweep away what encumbered the spot (the Disruptive Planets and their works.)
Group Four: Planet EEAAOOAAEE and entourage
The fourth and final group will enter Our Solar System and take possession of it, meaning that the massive Planet EEAAOOAAEE will capture everything found within the confines of our Solar System, including Planet Joseph and the Servant Planet Army which will be there awaiting the arrival of the fourth group.
Conclusion: this parable is a future prophecy
Group one needs to arrive and start doing its thing before the earthly part of the prophecy can even begin to be fulfilled. This group has not, yet, arrived. This parable, then, in its entirety, pertains to the future.

I forgot to add something to this post. If D&C 103: 30-34 is patterned after the heavenly Servant Planet Army, then it can be expected that the number of planets in Group Three will consist of no less than 100 and no more than 500. Either way, that’s a lot of celestial bodies!
Okay really great. It expanded my mind (edified). I believe that when the Lord reveals something to us on a large scale world, nation etc He is doing it to bring something to our attention which is intimate scale which has direct personal application. He is intensely involved in each of our lives. I read a greeting card once which said, God thinks about you 24 hours a day 365 day a year. There are so many who would scoff at such an idea. But it is true. He has countless (to us) servants to attend to our needs. But each of us are in His emotions and mind.
So this new view has a personal application. I hope we all look at it in that regard.
I have seen mention of how to understand prophesy but thank you for explaining these 3 keys.
So the “redemption of Zion” has a meaning for the Lord far far beyond the scope of a city-state being built in North and South America. I mean even in its earthly fulfillment phase. The process is one of overwhelming spiritual preparation and change in the whole plan of our family of man.
Something I have comprehended recently is it is the Lord’s will that each of is is lied to and deceived big time in this life, that we may learn to not allow it to happen in the future, for us to individually learn to be free of it.
This act of being assigned and falling short and being sent to drive out the enemy is also a learning process. He wouldn’t prevent it from happening. It wouldn’t be righteous. All the servants need to learn by experience.
This is the paradigm from which prophetic imagery must be read. Until people come to see scriptures thru this light — they will always fall short in understanding what its manifestation will appear as.
As above, so below — correct? Don’t the heavenly signs manifest a pattern for the earthly signs as well? I see the YHVH planet making preparations to enter our solar system as the means by which the person of Jesus Christ will likewise enter our system. It has been my understanding that Jesus Christ resides on the YHVH planet. If you agree with that, would you think that the servant planet Joseph is where Joseph is currently residing — and that he will personally make a return in conjunction with his planet?
Would not the temple itself be considered the tower’s foundation — considering that the tower was designed to be placed on top of, and thus be supported by, the temple?

Okay, I’ve now looked over the parable of the man who sent his servants to dig in his field and I also looked over the Keep Your Eye on the Planets post and apparently I never expounded that parable. I thought I had…
As I understand it, the 12 olive trees and 12 servants are not the same. The 12 servants are 12 Servant Planets, whereas the 12 olive trees are 12 plasma trees found on the poles of 6 Planets of Our Solar System, one tree per pole. If the parable of the man with the field is a parable of the past, then these were 12 Servant Planets that the Planet Jehovah visited in the past. If the parable pertains to the future, then these are 12 Servant Planets (part of the Servant Planet Army that comes with Planet Joseph) that the Planet Jehovah will visit when it comes in Group Four.
One thing that I currently don’t fully understand about the parable of the man with the field is verse 59, in which Planet Jehovah visits the planets in the order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and then in the order 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and then in the order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. In my mind I cannot properly envision how a planet/comet (Planet Jehovah) will enter the solar system and pass by 12 planets three times in this order. I know it will happen, but I’d have to draw out the paths and positions of each player to get a feel for how it might play out.
Justin, yes, as above, so below. My understanding is that Jesus resides on the Jehovah planet and that people here on Earth will see the Jehovah planet first and then Jesus will publicly appear afterward. But I do not believe that Joseph resides on the planet Joseph. However, I do believe the same holds true about the Joseph planet, namely, that it will makes its public appearance first before Joseph makes his public appearance. Private appearances are different, of course. The Savior can appear privately whevener He wants. Or send His servants privately.
Only translated and resurrected beings may (possibly) need a place other than Earth upon which to reside. Mortal people live in the physical world, spirits live in the spirit world. But even translated and resurrected beings might have a place in which to reside here on Earth, a place that we are generally unaware of. This world is, apparently, inhabited on the earth, in the earth and under the earth, so there are plenty of spots we don’t know about. That doesn’t mean these other planets, from outside the solar system, are not inhabited. But Joseph Smith, I believe, is here, within the confines of this planet.
Re: the foundation of the tower being the temple, this is the assumption that everyone makes. But it is just an assumption. Had the parable used the word “temple” instead of “tower”, would the image of an interplanetary plasma column come to mind? Would the image of a tower come to mind? Can a temple be built without a tower and still be a valid temple? How many temples are there in the world that do not possess observation towers? How about all the non-LDS temples? When you see towers around the world, for example, the Eiffel Tower, do you see it and think, “temple?”
Tower does not equate to temple and temple does not equate to tower, in man’s mind. It is understandable and logical that Joseph would want to put a tower upon the Nauvoo temple, because LDS temples are filled to the brim with cosmological symbolism, pointing the mind to the cosmos, and in that vein an astronomical observation tower fits perfectly in the setting. But the foundation of a temple and the foundation of a tower are not, necessarily, the same. They can be the same (if one is putting a tower on top), but they don’t have to be.
So, it is my understanding that the fulfillment of the earthly aspect of this prophecy will be a real astronomical observation tower foundation, not just a temple without a top (tower). When the Servant Planets come in and start doing their thing, what do you suppose will be the reaction here on Earth? Do you not suppose that interest in heavenly things will suddenly perk up? Do you not think that there might be a rush to build observation towers around the world so that people get a better grasp of the cosmos and the possible objects that are entering our solar system? When the Servant Planets are moving planets around, creating new planetary rings, moving moons around, and stacking planets, surely people will be anxious to build protective hedges themselves around their stake cities and anxious to build large observation towers. This will be especially true when the Servant Planets start “arguing” amongst themselves. Surely the tower mankind will want to build will be on a scale like the Tower of Babel. Something large enough to really see afar off. But then, when the Servant Planets slow down and become quiet, will people really want to spend all that money to build a tower for nothing, as it is a time of (celestial) peace?
Anyway, in my mind, I can only see the earthly part being fulfilled as stated in the parable: a tower, not a temple.

I’ve understood D&C 88’s parable to be referring to 12 planets upon which dwell human life that reside in 12 different solar systems. And that YHVH’s planet has an orbit such that it passes by/through the 12 systems in a successive order.
Also, Velikovsky’s book described the EEAAOOAAEE as accompanying the manifestations of the Venus pass-bys. However, this can’t be correct as I understand things because:
(a) Venus is currently in sight in our sky
(b) Venus is associated with Lucifer in Isaiah 14.
Orbits are not always elliptical they can be figure 8 patterns. It all depends on the proximity and relative masses. Also a EEAAOOAAEE is probably more massive than any planet of the 12. So His gravity will pull that planet off its original path even it resumes an orbit around the original sun. This has to be the case. How could it be that a visit from Jehovah would leave anyone unchanged. Surely the planets will be changed in their orbits. I can start with planet 1 being the furthest from the sun and and 2 the next closest and so on. Then EEAAOOAAEE planet whips around the sun in such a way that He leaves out bound on a different trajectory, the first half of the figure 8. Then returns for the 3rd visit on something similar to the original trajectory. Now between visit one and two it would be very possible that the planets visited would reverse the direction of their orbits so they would be inline for the 2nd flyby.
You can take it from there Justin.
And as a disclaimer, I think it would work.
“There are no angels who minister to this earth but those who do belong or have belonged to it” (D&C 130:5).
This could also be stated, in an equally true manner, “there are no planets that visit this solar system but those that do belong or have belonged to it.”
In cosmology, everything revealed by God pertains to our locality, which is our solar system. Other solar systems do not concern us and our salvation. So all planets talked about in the scriptures given to us are planets that either reside within the confines of the solar system, have resided within it at one time, or will reside within it. The parable of the redemption of Zion talks of planets that are found in the intercellular fluid (space), speaking as if the galaxy is a living organism with solar systems being the cells containing intracellular fluid (solar system space). We have nothing to do with planetary objects in intercellular space. They don’t belong to our galactic cell, with one exception: if those planetary objects are going to enter our cell. In the case of the parable, all four groups of intercellular planetary objects will be entering the cell. They will, then, belong to it, or have something to do with the inner workings of it, causing changes, etc.
Planets in other solar systems pertain to other solar systems, not to us. They don’t affect us or our solar system or our salvation. There is no need for us to know this information, it does nothing to further our salvation (the salvation of this particular part of the vineyard), so the Lord doesn’t tell us about it. So, everything He has told us about the heavens, must pertain to this solar system, meaning that it must be something that is here or that will be here or that was here.
For this reason, the 12 planets must be planets within this solar system and the field must be this solar system. In other words, they start out in intercellular space (outside the solar system) and are sent into the field (into the solar system). Then the Lord of the field enters the field (a singular field in which all servants are digging) Himself and visits each planet sequentially, for an hour each. (See Twelve Kingdoms or Planets for a quote by Benjamin F. Johnson.)
dyc4557, you and I think alike. I was also seeing the figure 8 pattern for the fly-by and changed orbits. The figure 8 pattern is often seen in nature, both on Earth in magnets as well as in the heavens among stars.
I have a little background in astronomy. For those who may not be aware the solar system (everything which has an orbit around our local star) extends far beyond the furthest planet. Many comets have orbits that take them beyond the furthest planets for many years and then return. I believe the term for everything that is attached to our sun is called the Ort cloud. Named for some scientist trying to achieve immortality when he already had it. But it is a cool name and concept. There is all kinds of stuff out there. Some of it could be quite scary like asteroid groups which might come only every 20,000 years and really wreak havoc. Of course it is all planned for by the Lord so it is just havoc from the stand point of the uninformed.
Now LDSA surely the enemy planets are our lost brothers the 1/3 that chose Lucifer’s plan. I don’t know where I get it from but it seems there is a law that satan and his followers can only be messing with those of us on this earth. That just as Moses was shown the details pertaining to only this earth, I believe satan’s activities (Next Tuesday there will be a politics temptout for all junior political tempters at the US polling booths. Please bring copies of the latest spin thought handout plus any of your best dirt to share. The time is 7am local time sharp.) are limited to this earth or at least this solar system. Does that make sense? Or am I being provincial?
Ah, you bring up another scripture that indicates that only things pertaining to our immediate locality (solar system) are shown to us. I had forgotten about that Moses scripture.
I knew about the Ort Cloud and I agree with you that the name is awesome. I, personally, have no background in astronomy, but as the gospel is cosmic in nature, I suppose we are all supposed to follow in the footsteps of Abraham and learn these things. If there were a seer among the people with a Urim and Thummim, we’d all be able to learn a correct knowledge of the stars (planets), but it does not appear that there are any seers left, despite our sustaining. At any rate, we do have keys to understand prophesy with what Joseph Smith gave us and we also have the science of astronomy, although it rejects plasma cosmology, which makes it a flawed science at best, plus we now have the plasma scientists’ work and plasma mythology to utilize, so the Lord hasn’t left us completely in the dark.
There has been talk among many people of the planet/comet Nibiru or Marduk or Planet X, etc., which people believe will come and cause great destructions. I find the parable of the redemption of Zion useful because once it is deciphered (to the best of our seerless abilities), we don’t have to be deceived. When the first group of planets comes in there will surely be people saying that Nibiru has returned, and be deceived. Later, when the disruptive planets enter, along with the planet called by the parable “the destroyer,” which I suppose will be a very large planet (representing the devil), again there will be those crying Planet X! Then when Planet Joseph enters, again people will cry Marduk! Probably after that most will say we are safe, there will be no more destroyers entering our solar system, Niibiru has come and gone, only be taken by surprise when planet Jehovah enters suddenly.
To be honest, the above information (my interpretation of the parable) is completely new to me. I had never taken the time to analyze this parable before last Saturday, so I want to thank you, dyc4557, zo-ma-rah and also OWIW for bringing it to my attention and piqueing my interest enough for me to take a more than superficial look at it. I have never before heard of four groups of planets slated to enter our solar system. Perhaps Anthony Larson has already interpreted the parable and come to this conclusion and has published his findings somewhere, but I haven’t read of this before. This makes me realize, yet again, that even in our own Gentile-tailored scriptures, the Lord has embedded much information that we have yet to extract. The brass plates and other records, undoubtedly, contain even more prophesies that we are not aware of.
Btw, dyc4557, your thought about the enemy planets representing Satan and his angels makes perfect sense to me.
Your post inspired me to visually depict the way in which I’ve always read Revelation 13
“and they worshipped the beast”
To Mormon and Christian alike (because Mormons follow the Christian interpretations), this beast is a non-planet entitiy. But an awe-inspiring planet discharging plasma in magnificent and fearful displays connects to mankind’s psyche on a primitive level. It makes more sense to me that people would start worshipping a planetary beast.
Ancient man worshipped planets and to the modern man the practice sounds ridiculous. But the planets are currently far away from us, just dots in the sky. Bring them a little closer so that they begin to fill up the view and we’ll see if even the modern intellectual atheist remains firm in his beliefs.
I also find it interesting that modern astronomy, in its rejection of plasma cosmology, is setting up the world for the worship of these planets when they start discharging. We are used to seeing sleeping planets and discharging stars and modern astronomy keeps planets and stars separate and distinct, whereas the ancients saw all planets as stars and all stars as planets. Some stars were fixed, others were wanderers (planets), but they were all the heavenly gods.
If and when the planets wake up and start acting like living things, modern astronomy, if it continues to reject plasma cosmology, will have no explanation for what the people will be seeing. This may cause a world-wide shift from reliance upon the scientific community, to reliance upon superstitious beliefs, opening up the fulfillment of these scriptures.

With all due respect, and no matter how good your classes are, you’d be errant in your conclusions to think that only those who have taken your classes can “intelligently” write about these subjects. Nor should you be put forth the notion that your classes and understandings are infallible (i.e. “It contains information that you lack in your speculations, information that would correct some of your misconceptions and misrepresentations”). I appreciate your zeal for the subject, but such statements actually do more to harm your point of view than help it (at least in my misguided opinion).
As someone once said, we don’t need more classes, or handbooks or anything else, we need more Spirit and having the Spirit is the best thing for anyone and everyone. The Spirit can do more to teach us on these subjects – and any subject for that matter – in a matter of minutes than any class given by any mortal every could ever do in hours (or days).
That being said, I’ve already thought of signing up and probably still will should they happen to fit my schedule. 😉

I’m sure your presentations are of great value. I own your prophecy trilogy and I respect the work you’ve done for connecting LDS theology with plasma cosmology.
However, there are better ways of linking to your sites than to dismiss our conversation here as not being down to earth or rational, stating that we don’t know what we’re talking about or that we are unintelligent until we participate in your classes.
Why not comment about what about our speculations lack? I’d be interested in knowing what you see as LDSA’s misconceptions and misrepresentations of D&C 101.
Justin, I would venture a guess that Anthony disagrees with my non-Saturn application of the parable, such as my using extra solar system planets as the ones spoken of, and not the planets that are already in the solar system, which we can see now at a distance. As I wrote this post, I knew that Anthony would disagree with it, nevertheless, my undertstanding is that even those who think they understand prophecy are going to be surprised by what actually occurs. Anthony and others rely solely on the one planet/comet (or in the case of an earthly fulfillment, the one prophet) returning, causing all the prophecies to be fulfilled. For the signs in heaven, the focus is on Saturn (and Venus, Mars, etc.) or on Planet X, the brown dwarf star that comes by every so often. For the signs on the earth, the focus is on the One Mighty and Strong, or the return of Joseph, or the return of Sidney, etc. The focus is on one individual that causes all the prophecies to be fulfilled. But the scriptures, in my reading, indicate a plurality of actors on the prophetic stage. There will be prophets both ancient and modern on the scene. We don’t see the ancient prophets (for they died) but they will come back with some new prophets no one has ever before heard of. In like manner, there will be old planets in play in the heavens as well as new ones no one has ever seen before.
The problem, as I understand it, is that Mormon Gentiles are too confining in their view of the prophecies. By that I mean we typically think we’ve got all the prophecy that pertains to the last or latter days. So, all we need to do is properly interpret it and bingo!, we know all that will occur prior to the Second Coming. But my understanding is that Mormon Gentiles have been given prophecy that only pertains to Mormon Gentiles. Some of it may overlap into the tribes of Israel, but it is mainly tailored to the Gentiles. There are other prophecies that pertain to each of the individual tribes of Israel, of which we have no knowledge. These other prophecies must likewise be fulfilled during the last days scenarios. So, even with a proper understanding of every prophecy we’ve been given in our current scriptures, every Mormon Gentile is going to be surprised at the end time events, because there will be lots of things happening that our scriptures never even spoke of, because they were spoken of in the scriptures had by the tribes of Israel, which we don’t currently have.
I know that my interpretation of this parable goes beyond the Saturn myth, but this doesn’t phase me. I’m flexible enough to allow for other possibilities.

In World’s in Collision, Velikovsky associates the Exodus events with a pass-by of the planet Venus. If Venus, which is associated with Lucifer, falsely came in the name of EEAAOOAAEE [as was discussed above] —
— then does that explain the differences seen between the OT God and the NT Jesus. By that I mean, I heard throughout Sun. School this year that, “Gee, Jehovah must have undergone anger management between the OT and the NT.” Also, the gnostic sects believing that the OT God who created this world was really Satan. Etc.

Is this the account of a planet falsely appearing in the name of EEAAOOAAEE and leading Moses to think that it was indeed the Lord? Would that explain more of the troubling aspects of the OT — i.e. that the Israelites mistakenly took that which was from Lucifer to be from the Lord?

The true spirit of prophecy is nothing more and nothing less than a testimony of Jesus Christ, who said this in BoC IX:17 — “Behold this is my doctrine: whosoever repenteth, and cometh unto me, the same is my church: whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me.” If you declare a testimony of Christ but deny your own prophecy, you prove yourself a false prophet & a false teacher, this is a grand key to discernment indeed.
“As above, so below” is a doctrine of Mystery Religion, not the restored gospel.
What you all are trying to interpret is not a prophecy but a parable & similitude. Anyone who can’t see its words shine through in our day is blind.
The parable reminds me a lot of Isaiah chapters 28 through 33 (which has much more celestial imagery than the above) — “The sinners of Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; he shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.”
Other lessons to be had & applied from that section — A sure foundation is laid in Zion, and he that believes makes not haste: “For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.”
The words & claims of this article are hasty and do not evidence discretion. Regardless of that, there is always a hope: “They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.” “And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right, and when ye turn to the left.”
The evils we see in our own Church, the corruption of our leaders & members, their neglect, their variance one with another, their positions as global exchangers, bribers, and inducers, warmongers & oppressors, their eyes wide open to evil (consider, e.g., J. W. “Bill” Marriott’s support of Hell’s Kitchen), etc., these things are being done for the Lord’s purposes: “Yet he [the Lord] also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will rise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.” The Church is built up & corrupted so that it can come to possess all that can be possessed, for one to come in time & consecrate its wealth. “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”
Had I seen the word “heliosphere” anywhere, maybe I’d give more pause, but since this is not at all based on astronomical science or observation, I have to wonder where you all are coming from. Sure, the ancients have been tortured by the skies, but that has more to do with geomagnetic reversal and safe & danger zones due to negative & positive vertical intensity. Kansas City & northern Missouri have among the strongest negative vertical intensity field in the world (as does Moscow).

Okay, as many are probably already aware, there’s a new comet in town. James McCanney thinks it may possibly have a planet-sized nucleus and there is potential for this thing to make changes to the solar system as it passes through. If so, I wonder if this may be the start of the first group (mentioned in the post above) beginning to wander in. Here is McCanney’s special page dedicated to this comet:

So, October 21st, and thereafter, is a new date to watch. Personally, reading that Venus may become a little more active does not sit well with me…

So, now he’s talking about this comet possibly becoming a new member of our solar system… Again I wonder, is this a Servant Planet?
Yet another recent comment from McCanney that made me think about the Servants Planets (plural) entering the solar system at some point. Here is an excerpt:
McCanney had an interesting radio program this past week about the possible size of this new comet. I guess NASA is saying its nucleus is about 26 miles in diameter, but McCanney thinks that’s just damage control and misinformation. He thinks the comet could be anywhere from 100 to 200 times bigger, meaning 2600 to 5200 miles in diameter. In other words, this possibly could be a planet-sized comet. Since its nucleus will be passing by Mars at a closest distance of about 7 million miles, if it is planet-sized, he thinks it likely Mars will be affected in many possible ways. McCanney believes that this new comet has already demonstrated earth effects, even though it is still very far away near Jupiter. In his radio program tonight he claimed that the freak “bomb cyclone” blizzard in Tokyo this week and the huge Auroras seen around the world were due to an electrical connection between the comet and the Earth and the Earth and the Sun.
Servant Planets, anyone?

This post was maybe the biggest waste of time I’ve engaged in in the last 10 years. Thank goodness I stopped reading it after 10 minutes. Me–and the rest of the people who read this (even though they wouldn’t admit to it)–are dumber for having read it. You are a certifiable wack job. Smh.
