I’ve never written about World Trade Center attacks of September 11th, 2001 (9/11) on this blog before, so I’m breaking new ground.
Recently, I came across the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth group, which is calling for a new investigation into 9/11. AE911Truth has assembled evidence that the three World Trade Towers came down in a controlled demolition, using thermite incendiaries. So, after perusing their web site and watching their videos, curiosity has gotten the better of me.
I’m wondering if the visitors to the LDS Anarchy blog are supporters of the official reason given by the government as to why the towers came down, or are supporters of another theory. If another theory, do you find AE911Truth’s collection of evidence compelling and should there be another investigation, or should this whole thing be put behind us?

I’m not in the “no plane” group — but I’m highly skeptical of what the government has said is the 9/11 story.
I don’t think that the President was behind the attack or orchestrated it — I believe the government allowed it to happen to use for justification.
I watched the towers — all three of them — fall on live TV.
I’ve also watched controlled demolitions.
The WTC did not look like that.
Besides, who would have been behind the conspiracy? I mean, they’d have to persuade a group of fanatics to support their crazy plans. Crazed fanatics are seldom good at cooperating with those, whose goals differ from their own.
I have to completely and respectfully disagree with Velska. I have personally witnessed a controlled demolition (the old Hudson building in Detroit, MI) and I have seen many buildings brought down, through controlled demolition, by a company called Controlled Demoltions Company (CDC) on a cable TV program. The way with which those 3 towers fell appeared to be identical to what I’ve witnessed personally and on the cable TV program. Tower 7 is extremely similar to controlled demolitions, with the center part collapsing in first.
I’ve been to several 9/11 Truth websites and I’ve read and seen videos of the many discrepancies between the Government’s official explaination and that of physics/logic/common sense. I’m not going to expound on any of that information with this post, but I reserve the right to come back to it later should there be an interest. I would, however, like to expound on this idea that the 9/11 attacks could not be a conspiracy because it would require hundreds, if not thousands, of people (or as Velska suggests, “Crazed fanatics”) to go along with it.
To counter this idea, I would like to invoke the great “Manhattan Project”, which was done in almost complete secrecy during World War II. This secret project involved over 100,000 people, was done in many different locations, including a major populated US city and successfully produced the atomic bomb. This secret project demostrated that it is very possible to create a conspiracy involving many people and have a successful outcome.
Another point to consider is the concept of compartmentaliztion. One of the keys to the Manhattan Project’s success was that the research was done through the use of compartments, meaning that only a small, select few actually knew purpose of the project. The vast majority did not know what their work or research was going to produce, or who else was involved. They only knew what they were responsible for; they did know have knowledge of what any other compartment (or group) was doing, producing or researching.
So, to successfully pull off a 9/11 type attack, you’d need to have many people unknowingly participate in it, with only a select few knowing the whole truth. Reviewing the events of 9/11, it’s very easy to see how compartmentalization could have been used to keep people in-the-dark about the true nature and purpose of the day’s events.
Confusion is also a good cementer of compartmentalization. The more confusion that is created for a conspiracyt, the better chance it has to succeed. There was an abundance of confusion on 9/11, with several standard protocols not being followed.
One example is that no F-16s were dispatched to investigate any of the 4 planes that stopped transponding. A standard protocol is that whenever a plane stops transmitting its transponder or does not respond to the control tower after a certain amount of time, a military jet is dispatched to check it out. I’m no military expert, so I don’t know the exact details of this protocol, but I do remember when Payne Stewart’s (the famous golfer) plane lost radio contact with the tower, that an F-16 was dispatched to intercept it. (you may remember that it eventually crashed in field in South Dakota in 1999). No F-16s were dispatched to check-out the 4 planes that stopped transponding. Why? Perhaps it was due to confusion.
In any case, although I do not know the truth behind 9/11 (but I have some opinions about it) I do believe that conspiracies involving a large number of people, whether they be normal or “crazy”, can and has been successfully used by our government in the past. If it worked so well for the Manhattan Project, why not for 9/11?
I don’t know that the Manhattan Project could be considered a “conspiracy” — it was part of a secret program, yes, but the secrecy was about the war situation mostly. Besides, didn’t they need to put the stuff together, too? I mean, it’s one thing to research this or that in different scattered labs and then put the result together somewhere, and another thing to cause a statistical “collision” like the planes just “happening” to be hijacked.
They had WTC demolition-ready, and were just waiting for some looney to fly a couple of planes into them? For how long, and how many people and how much time did it take to put together the right kinds of explosives? As I understand it, controlled demolition requires a very controlled process of placing explosives and setting the fuses and timing the explosions for goodness’ sakes.
Anyhow, who would be the bad guy then? Did Pentagon/NSA start this under Clinton or Bush? Who was the one who planned it, and who was asleep at the wheel? They should have to achieve it by Sep 2001. This wasn’t an abandoned building site, but a well guarded office complex, where someone was working practically 24/7, so it would have taken some time to find the right places and inconspicuously place–and hide!–the explosives, with fuses and whatnot. I could buy a wireless detonation system, yes. That’s not that big, apparently, although I’m quite sure that the network logistics of that would have been quite complicated because steel-reinforced concrete tends to create Faraday cases–at least our apartment building has places where it seems nobody’s phone works etc…

But for me, really, it’s neither here or there. What’s done is done, how about getting back on a rational track and trying to make sure that we are doing what we should be doing right now.
Like people griping against the Islamic Culture Center near “ground zero”. How many of them know that there was a Muslim prayer room in WTC–and such a room is called a (gag!) Mosque! And how many Muslims actually went down in the fall of WTC?
IMHO, building that Islamic Center (which would naturally include a prayer room or a Mosque) around the area would be one of the strongest arguments against the Al Qaida recruitment pitch!

If you visit the many truth about 9/11 websites, you’ll find information about what was done prior to,during and after the event. You’ll be able to see the evidence and then conclude if there was a conspiracy and who is at fault.
Regarding the Manhattan Project, it was never my intent to use it as an example of a conspiracy (it’s not) but as an example of proof that you can have many thousands of people involved in a secret project, and still keep it secret. The 9/11 attacks are another example of this, although I believe a on far smaller scale (only a few thousand people were involved, not 100,000+). This point was to resolve your concern that crazed fanatics were involved (I don’t believe they were).
I believe that 9/11 was a well thought-out, planned and executed event by others than those to whom the official reports points. Our government has a long history of fabricating events to fit and fulfill its agenda. Some examples: the explosion of the USS Maine off the Cuban coast that started the Spanish/American War, the attack on Pearl Harbor which the government knew would happen and put in motion the events that would trigger it (the boycotting/blockading supplies to Japan), The Gulf of Tonkin non-event which lead the US to escalate the war in Vietnam, the lie about the first Iraq war (our ambassador told the Hussein administration that the US considered the Iraq/Kuwait dispute to be an internal matter), the non-existant WMDs in Iraq that lead to the second Iragi war. There are many others, but these should whet your appetite for truth!
Well, you do have a point there. Those USS Maine/Pearl Harbor/Tonkin incidents are good examples of how transparent they are in the end.
I don’t feel that 9/11 is quite that clear. I also know who killed JFK and Marilyn, but that would take us pretty far from the subject.
Believing in a real 9/11 conspiracy by the US government would indicate George W. Bush, who was supposed to be a savior rather than a villain. Or was I right in the beginning that he was just a tool for some military-industry neocon warmongers?
I mean, when someone proclaims to have simple solutions to complex problems, the solution often is wrong and makes the problem bigger. As the Iraq war, which did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to do (or at least what the public was told it was about).
George Bush is just the titular head of the true conspirators, the modern day Gadianton robbers (CFR, Tri-lateal commision, The Fed and Private Banking etc.).I do not lay blame on any one person, especially the leader du jour – currently Obama. They are all cogs in the larger wheel of unrighteousness. The plans for 9/11 were laid out back in the ’60 during the Cuba crisis, and have been updated ever since. It’s a great example of distraction through redirection and slight of hand tactics, to cover the real goal.

Excellent example! I have several bleeing-heart republicans in my family that believe the government would never lie to us or make un-righteous war. They believe that the 2 Iraqi wars were approved and ordained by God because our Prophet didn’t disagree. with it when Bush met with him (one family member was a Bishop and the other served a mission in Mexico, so you’d think that they’d know better). Being a libertarian, I see things with a different set of eyes. I can really relate to the movie The Matrix and the blue and red pill. It’s been frustrating discussing/debating with them. I tend to just agree to disagree, but they seem to be more interested in “winning” the debate.
Anyways, I think that we need to look deeper into this 9-11 event. I don’t believe the government’s “official” explanation.
I really enjoy your web-site LDS Anarchist! I noticed this this particular blog hasn’t been replied on in over a year. I would like to know if anyone has change their minds about 911. I use to be among those who always believed our government had our best interest in mind, that they would never lie to us. Wow, i was sorely mistaken. I won’t pretend to say I know who is behind 911. What i do know is our government has lied BIG-TIME to us. There have been some very good examples here of how our government has lied to us in the past. I just want to add one more.
According to Newly released secret and long-hidden documents obtained for Body of Secrets,( freedom of information act) the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government. In the name of anticommunism, Our government proposed launching a secret and bloody war of terrorism against our own country in order to trick we the American public into supporting an ill-conceived war they intended to launch against Cuba.
Code named Operation Northwoods, the plan, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, LA and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit. The assassination of Cuban émigrés. Blowing up a U.S. ship. Planes would be hijacked and crashed. One with supposedly students of the university of Miami . (CIA FRONTS not collage students) They in fact had a remote control plane which was to be used for the crash without any passengers. They would than stage and fake funerals for the fake Miami students.. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer cabal and the United States of America a cataclysmic pretext for mass troop deployment and the invasion and war with Cuba. This is almost unbelievable. Just look it up. You can read the declassified documents online to verify. The way I figure it is our government has lied to us about every war for the last 100 years why is it unpatriotic to question the ones where in now?
Most of the Church was deceived by FDR and WWI even when the entire first presidency informed them what kind of man FDR was. They basically called him a communist. But the church didn’t listen. FDR received more support from Utah during his elections than anywhere else in the country. First counselor J. Reuben Clark predicted WWII in general conference at a time when America was against the European war. So for him to say America was about to get involved in the war was crazy talk. Nobody believed him. The attack on Pear Harbor changed that. But listen to what he says here;
“The power people are now planning another war for you. They (power people)have made this depression last many more years than it would have ordinarily lasted. They got stock down to 14 cents on a dollar. They just bought up everything at 14 cents on a dollar, and they’re now ready to make additional billions as they put you through another world war.” …”They’re going to have you pay for it. You’re going to be involved in it. You don’t think you’ll get involved, but they’ll say that for the peace of the world, you must come in, and you’ll feel so soft-hearted about it, you’ll come in. It will be just as big a mistake as World War I,” which I thought was just great when we went in, and I now know, could have been handled differently, and we could have saved ourselves a lot of problems.”………. “We are in the midst of the greatest exhibition of propaganda that the world has ever seen. Just do not believe all you read or hear. The elect are being deceived.” This is truly prophetic. He says he supported WWI but he learned it was a big mistake. The elect are being deceived? who are they and the power people ? Who was ready to make billions of the coming war? They say if you don’t learn from history you are doomed to repeat it. Are there people making billions of today’s wars? If so wouldn’t you like to know who they are?
Just a month before WWII he had this to say;“We, the common people, have not been told the facts for years, since long before the last war broke. We are not now being told the facts. We can only surmise. But give us the facts and we will answer. And in our multitude of counsel you will find wisdom.”…..”We may expect that every means, both fair and foul, which can be devised by hating, desperate men, fighting for their lives, will be used to drag us into this war. We must not accept anything at its face value; we must question every statement, carefully examine every incident. Such is war.”

I’ve done some research on this a came across a group known as “Project for a New American Century” Its truly remarkable! The group’s core ideas are expressed in a September 2000 report (before 911) produced by Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Jeb Bush, and Lewis Libby entitled “Rebuilding America’s Defenses:” Strategy, Forces and Resources for America to remain the world power for the next century. The Sunday Herald referred to the report as a “blueprint for U.S. world domination.” What’s interesting about this report written in 2000 is they predict the invasions and wars of Afghanistan and Iraq. They talk about our capabilities to fight these two wars at the same time. The U.S. must “fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theatre wars” as a “core mission”. It talks about Permanent U.S. bases in the middle east.
“Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.” Their dream of a catalyzing event could not have been better actualized than in the events of 9/11. Every time you hear Bush jr. , Cheney, Rumsfeld, Jeb Bush, Condi Rice talk about 911 they will ALWAYS SAY “ OUR PEARL HARBOR”” It must be a coincidence.
Although there could have been many responses to the tragedy of 9/11, the Bush administration seized upon that event to mold public opinion into accepting many ideas embodied in this report issued in the year 2000 “RAD”. The overthrow of Saddam Hussein, was being proposed by Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz one day after 9/11, even before anyone knew who was responsible for the attacks. The Patriot Act which tramples on our 4th and 5th amendment rights Our prophets have warned us NEVER to give up our liberties for the sake of security because we will lose both. But this must be the one exception. As soon as the war against Afghanistan was completed, the focus of US policy became regime change in Iraq, with all of the tragic consequences we are now seeing in that country.

I don’t have time to get into the details but someone answer this; How did building 7, a 47 story skyscraper fall into its own footprint at near free fall speed? Why doesn’t the 911 Commission even acknowledge building 7 that wasn’t even hit by a plane? Why don’t they discuss the pools of molten steel in the basement of all three buildings? Why do they leave out thousands of testimonies from fireman, policeman, other witnesses who heard multiple explosions? I could go on and on. Was was Henry Kissinger put in charge of the 911 commission? He resigned because there was a conflict of interest which was his Law firm in fact represents the Bin Laden family??
Ezra Taft Benson recommended a book in General Conference called ”None Dare Call it Conspiracy” by Gary Allen. Gary Allen has a book on Henry Kissinger free online called ; “Kissinger: The Secret Side of the Secretary of State.“ Read that and ask yourself how is it this man was put in charge of one of Americas most important investigations? Also ask yourself this, how is it this man is on the right hand of every president since Nixon? Just a couple weeks ago he was in the Oval Office next to President Obama while he was signing an arms treaty with Russia? I’m done. I’m done. Hopefully more people will become awake to our awful situation as Moroni says… One last Quote from Ezra Taft Benson;

here is one more. This next quote is from the first presidency to the US Treasury in response to a letter they received from the US treasury (Rice Eccles, LDS) wanting support of war bonds and support of WWII. Very powerful message. Shortly after the message above…
“The Church as a Church does not believe in war and yet since its organization whenever war has come we have done our part … we do thoroughly believe in building up our home defenses to the maximum extent necessary, but we do not believe that aggression should be carried on in the name and under the false cloak of defense. LDSA, I truly appreciate the time that you invest into bringing more truth to light at a time when so many are confused and conflicted, thank you!
I am very new to exploring blogs of any kind and have spent an enormous amount of time reading this one as well as One Who Is Watching as I have discerned much from your work, thank you! I love to read the commentary as much as the posts as it gives me south more illumination as to how others see, hear and most importantly feel about where things are. Up to this point in time I had no intention in responding to any of the many stories put out about the events of 911. But as I read the responses I was inclined to share my 2 pennies of thought which does include more of the “feeling” part as it pertains to the Holy Spirit of Truth and Promise and my own verifications and validations of those promptings over the weaker senses EYE possess and hEAR. Anyway, here goes! The Book of Mormon is beyond my ability to place words of meaning and in proper order as to it’s sacredness of Gods love, His Son, the Holy Spirit, His Gospel, Prophets, people and their environment. The Book of Ether is a book that is placed where it is in the canon on purpose because it is so profound in many many ways, and to me displays a promise and a warning that is so profound and all inclusive that defies all logic. The first is that we are to gain the faith and humilty that Mohondri Moriancumer, the Brother of Jared displayed to arrive at having faith no more because of his belief he saw and heard Jesus Christ. The second being the warning of secret combinations, their oririgin and how and when they came into their society and how they were utterly destroyed by them and the effect that they had on the Nephites and Lamanites as Moroni so clearly points out as he adds his commentary. So with that said, one thing I find so fascinating with LDS today is how they are so certain to point out the “Great Whore of a Church” with the Catholic Church and things that they perceive as wrong with the state of affairs in our present society and quickly point them out and add their thoughts as to why and how they have come about!? On the flip side of pointing out these things many are unwilling to allow the Spirit to teach them as they were unwilling to go to the Spirit as admonished in the beginning!? So many have it all figured out because they have developed an assumptive presumptive view of things because they have listened to what men have said with their precepts and have therefor built their entire belief structure on mans interpretation of things and not the Spirits verification and validation of all truth of one has faith and is a persistent asker and knocker of truth. So let’s just look at a couple of things to stir up the pot a lot!!! Q. If money is not of God and is not real(earth and labor of man produce all goods)then why all of the fuss? Q. If there is opposition in all things and also opposition to good things why is it hard to imagine evil in control of men and power in all physical things? Because of mans unwillingness to live the Law of Consecration and being equal or one with his brother with physical manifestations we have the alternative plan in place money. So who controls this money? Who has most of the gold, who delegates the banking principles based off of golds value, and who protects the gold? What is the purpose of a government, state or corporation? What is liberty, freedom and anarchy? What is the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Address at Gettysburg? Are we truly free as God intended us to be? What is sin? What is debt? Are they different?What is the real position of the modern LDS Church? If Jesus Christ created and then went below all things to give us His Gospel, this earth and our lives for our joy, why isn’t their more joy? Many questions for the Spirit eh!? So in All of Gods Greatness He allows us agency and agendas to navigate our way, at the end of the day it is up to each of us to find out what is “Really Going On!” so we have the Word of God. Annointed an unannounced prophets and people of all kinds to search meditate and pray to get answers to all of our questions. A big big problem with LDS is that by not developing their foundations on the Word and the Spirit, the Rock, they have built with sand the precepts of all men including “the brethren” who are men! How can one seek for truth if one is not willing to listen to God and His Word through a Spritual Witness? So by believing the brethren and our fathers without first having done what is commanded of us to do in “All Things” how can we possibly know any thing to be truth? One commenter alluded to how his family has to “Win” as they discuss current events, a couple of others have touched on many truths concerning 911. One of your posts goes into us as a people/nation being free pertaining to the Word and revelation. I believe there was freedom realized long ago as anarchy was thriving prior to a king wanting more for himself. Upon Declaring our Independence we only realized a few years of freedom, possibly 7, because the cost of having created 13 original corporations and the debt/sin that came of refusing a king by warring with him. So to date out of 235 years we have maybe been truly a free people for about 7 years! Other than the early saints that did live consecration for a minute or two! Scriptures are not only the Word of God they are History! Of one is willing to dig and keep on digging one can find out a lot in a relatively short period of time with the tools we have now in our possession to do so! You cannot realize true liberty and freedom without doing the work of searching relentlessly and upon finding nuggets(facts) through manifestation of the Spirit and building them into a truth by the power of the Spirit, they remain just nuggets. Our salvation fully depends on each of us doing the digging and sharing, by doing so we are experiencing a piece of the law of consecration. Those who withhold their findings of truth to share with their brother are in the same boat as those who have never cared to know truth! The more truth we share opening the more other Spirits can meditate and pray upon truth and refine that truth through discernment and eliminate each little fleck of hearsay so that it can be pure and therefor assist in the purification of ones heart or ones right heart mind! (excellent post Anarchist!) So faith cannot be blind, it is a lie, there is no such thing! There are many statements made that are pure unadulterated lies! Confusing languages persists to this day with “legalese!” convoluting words and combinations of words to deceive and perpetuate lies. So looking at 911 with my spiritual training and physical training and knowledge I approached it first by asking myself what is the overall objective in this event happening on this particular date? I was running my own development company with a wife and seven kids so I felt that i would get some basics and shelf the rest. The basics as in who really pulled it off and what is their ultimate objective in doing so? So when I saw the first images on the news of jets slicing into a building after being frantically awoken by my wife, I saw and heard the commentary but my mind couldn’t accept it as truth because if you fly an aircraft at those speeds into a 2′ thick structure there is no chance of anything like what you saw as happening! It defies physics period. So I immediately had suspicions in my mind, from go! But I did not take the time to find out the facts for myself until this past summer, I had heard a lot of hearsay with threads of truth but what caught my attention more in 12 years time was the damage that that single event has caused in my life, my families, my friends and neighbors, our nation of people and the world! Because immediately the world as I once knew it had changed and I had a family and business to protect and navigate through the changes. I happened to be in New York City as a young child when they were being built and went back there after the clean up was done so I felt a little bit of an association, enough to put it to bed in my mind once and for all upon discovering the facts and building truth this summer. Who built them and when was the first thought of building them? Is it possible that because they were to be so big and in such tight quarters that they could have been built to come down whenever for whatever? Did people really die in their destruction, if so, how many? Many many questions, and if one is willing to invest the time and reason as an intelligent unbiased human being, gather all of the information together without going in a tangent, then it is there for all to know. But if one has not done the amount of research one needs to do to know whether one is participating in the one true and living church then what can you expect? Be careful in doing so because the truth may gut you! But if one can learn to live and discern by the Spirit, the truth can and will set you free! Nothing on this earth has more importance to our salvation than knowing the true character of God, His Son, the Holy Spirit of Truth and His Gospel. May we all be praying for the Servants return, to receive the power of God, the Holy Mechizedek Priesthood and be excited about being one and living the Law of Consecration.
